This deserves more attention and i'm happy that you've brought it up. The limitations would be that players are req to have the min combat lv for that slayer master, but I guess that a high combat player wouldn't mind duo slayer with friend that is lower level. I've written this so long ago that I forgot if there is such a thing in there. This is just one example with a new partner system we could get more interaction between higher and lower combat levels bringing the community closer together and closing this 'gap'. Saying Hello from The Netherlands Even after 99 slayer you could possible help your partner with these tasks giving more use to the skill if you want to help clan mates for example after you've gotten 99 slayer and possible even before that and even getting a bit of rewards for it. The old partner system was really, and I mean really broken. This is really well thought through, I do believe there's a huge need for a partner system, i've gotten 99 slayer multiple times on a few accounts and after that there's not really much to do besides completing the log and getting the slayer pets. With this suggestion I am hoping I covered most of the problems the old system had and any new ones that might pop up. This is my suggestion for Slayer partner rework, for when GIM hits the servers! Unfortunately the fix is not that simple. I wish you gave my suggestion a more in depth read. It's too simple to fix, there's no excuse on part of the developers. A friend of mine lost interest when finding out slayer partnership was canceled. It really is that simple.Ī lack of early game group combat content negatively affects player retention. It's also so simple to fix, just make it so only the initiators blocked monsters are recognized when selecting a group task. This game is completely devoid of quality early/mid game group combat content, slayer partners solve that issue entirely. These Minibosses provide more Combat XP than normal Zombies, which means you can spawn the Zombie Slayer boss faster.This content being removed is by far the biggest disappointment I've experienced relative to OSRS. Minibosses have a chance to spawn when a Zombie is slain while a Zombie Slayer quest is active. The Mobs listed below give experience towards completing an active Zombie Slayer quest.Īdditionally, certain Minibosses will randomly spawn when one of the above mobs is killed with a Zombie Slayer quest active, which grants large amounts of Combat or Fishing XP.
